YELC aims to help 15-25 year olds with legal problems by offering a free legal advice and information service over the telephone in relation to:

Debt and credit matters.
Consumer, Trade and Tenancy matters.
Consumer welfare matters.
Employment law matters in limited situations. We will not accept matters involving discrimination law or unfair dismissal.

I signed up to a mobile phone contract and am having trouble meeting my obligations. What can I do?

I went as a guarantor on a mobile phone contract for a friend of mine. They have racked up a huge bill and can't pay it back. How will this affect me?

I entered into a loan agreement with a finance company to buy my car and I've missed 3 months worth of repayments because I lost my job. I just got a notice saying that they have the right to repossess my car. What should I do?
